Management
In 2005 Gerry Lamer and Bob Lamer purchased the assets of the Badger
Bite Company and changed the name to “Badger Shredding Products
Inc.” to continue the development of the Badger Shredding Product
Line of slow speed, twin shaft, shredding machines. The focus was to
develop this product line in the horsepower range of 200 to 600
horse power for processing and recycling materials including
concrete, asphalt, light metal, wood, green waste, construction &
demolition materials and solid landfill materials. At this time
Terry Rogers joined the new company to head up the design
engineering and production department of the company. Gerry, Bob and
Terry bring with them, a lot of knowledge and many years of
experience in the designing and manufacturing of large industrial
machinery for the heavy construction equipment, mobile marine crane
market and mining machinery market. Badger shredding has invested
heavy during the past several years in product development, testing
and promoting the Badger Shredding Machines to the heavy machinery
recycling market. Prior to purchasing the Badger product line Gerry
along with his brother AL owned and operated Marine Travelift, Inc
and Shuttlelift, Inc. for almost 30 years. Together they took the
company from twelve employees and grew it to a workforce of over 200
with annual sales of over $40 million. Bob was also involved in the
company as Sales Manager for their “Carrydeck” industrial crane
product line. Over the coarse of that 40 years the Lamer’s developed
a worldwide distribution network for the distribution and service of
their products. Prior to Owning Marine Travelift and Shuttlelift,
Gerry was Chief Engineer for Drott Manufacturing and later JI Case
Co
THE PRESENT
Today the Badger Management team is headed up by CEO Gerry Lamer. Gerry
has over 50 years of experience in the engineering and design of heavy
equipment. Bob Lamer is the General Manager, and has over 20 years of
experience in sales and operations management in the equipment
industry. The original developer and designer of the Badger Machine Mr.
Terry Rogers is the Vice President of Engineering and product
development. Terry brings with him over 30 years of experience in
designing and developing machines in the crushing and Screening
Industry.
THE FUTURE
The plans for Badger include continuing to build a quality product and to set up a worldwide distribution network to assist in the sales and servicing of the machines. The plan is to also develop a complete product line of slow speed shredders to accommodate the recycling market. The Main focus of Badger Shredding is to produce a quality product and to provide reliable after market service to its customers on a worldwide basis.
